Tools and fixtures, built by FRIMO Shanghai or imported from other FRIMO locations, can be tested and commissioned before the shipment to the customer.

由FRIMO上海工厂生产或其他FRIMO分部进口的设备和模具，发运前均可在此进行检测和调试。

Besides, customer can produce the sample parts for different purposes. Pre-serial part production, improvement/ validation cycles and even low volume serial production can be made at FRIMO Shanghai. This will be, compared to the trails at the customers own plant, much more efficient. Because the interruption of the production line at customer will be very costly. Especially for those completely new design, when several rounds optimization are required, the savings will be considerable. Furthermore, with the above lab machines, FRIMO can also make prototype tools and parts for customers, which are more and more used by Chinese local OEMs to assure the fit and finish of their development and design.

同时，客户可为不同目的生产样件，产品试样、优化改进/周期验证以及小批量试生产均可在FRIMO上海技术中心进行。相比在客户试制，更加高效。考虑到在客户端占用生产线试样的高额费用，特别是对于那些完全新开发的产品，通常需要经过多轮的调整优化，费用将更为昂贵。此外，通过实验设备，我们还可为客户制作软模以及样品，这也是越来越多中国当地主机厂验证其开发和设计精确性和完整性的方式。

With the increasing demand of models developed in China, the demand for prototype tools for automotive interiors are growing accordingly. The growth comes from both international OEMs and local OEMs. The international OEMs try to develop more models to meet the expectations of Chinese consumers with different features than the ones launched in other markets which results in more prototype requirements for validation and testing. For the local OEMs, they require more prototype tools than before to make the design verification to avoid call-backs as much as possible.  To meet the demand, FRIMO decided to build up more capacity in the TechCenter. The new Infrared welding machine will be installed in 2019 Sep.

随着中国市场车型开发需求的日益增长，汽车内饰件样品模的需求量也不断上涨。该增长同时来源于国际主机厂和当地主机厂。不同于其他市场只投产一款车型，国际主机厂商也在极力开发更多车型以满足中国消费者的多样化需求，从而需要更多的样品模用以验证和测试。对于中国当地的主机厂商，相比以前，他们则需要更多的样品模以验证设计从而尽可能的避免“召回”。为满足该需求，FRIMO决定进一步扩大技术中心产能。新一台的红外焊接设备已于2019年9月开始安装。
